About Soroptimist
Chartered in 1947 by the Huntington Park Soroptimist Club, Soroptimist International of Corona has been an important part of Corona community spirit. As part of Soroptimist International, we also participate in and contribute to the global community.
In Corona, examples of the projects we support are Alternatives to Domestic Violence and the Teen Parent Program at Corona High. Our club also stages several projects each year, including our Scholarship Program, Dreams & Decisions, Women of Significance Award, Violet Richardson Award and the Women’s Opportunity Award. Our signature fundraiser is the Chocolate, Wine and Jazz Festival held annually in October.
